We’re Hiring a Dedicated Property Manager – Langford, BC

We’re seeking an experienced and licensed Residential Property Manager to oversee a well-maintained 60-unit rental apartment building in the heart of Langford. You will work closely with our full-time, on-site caretaker to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the building and provide excellent service to our tenants.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

Overseeing building operations, tenant relations, and rent collection

Coordinating leasing, move-ins/outs, and tenancy agreements

Handling maintenance requests, scheduling trades, and approving repairs

Ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act and all applicable BC laws

Managing budgets, reporting to ownership, and maintaining financial records

Working alongside the on-site caretaker to address tenant concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:

Valid Real Estate Services Act (RESA) license with Rental Property Management designation (mandatory)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential property management

Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) of BC

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to attend the property in person regularly (local or nearby candidates preferred)

Experience with property management software (e.g., Buildium, Yardi, or similar)

Preferred:

Experience managing multi-unit residential buildings (50+ units)

Conflict resolution or mediation training

Familiarity with CMHC compliance or housing programs (an asset)

Compensation:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience

Flexible contract or employee arrangement (to be discussed)

Performance-based bonuses available
