Singer-songwriter looking for band mates (Victoria)

I'm little sky, a singer-songwriter looking for musicians to make great music together. I'm new to Victoria, hope to get connected to the local music scene.
I play piano and guitar, but would like to focus on vocals, so mainly looking for band mates on percussion, keyboard, guitar, bass, and strings. Would be a plus if you could do back up vocals while playing.
My intention for the band:
- regular, committed rehearsals once all band members are confirmed
- arrange and play original songs as well as creatively re-arrange covers
- mid- to long-term goals: paid gigs at local venues/music festivals, recordings, self-publish songs/albums.
- I write in English and Mandarin, would be great if you do, too! (I'm open to Cantonese and French as well)
- genre: I hope we can create genre-bending music! I'm open to everything except for heavy rock or country.
- I'm open to 2- or 3- people band, as long as we make it work
- female musician seriously welcome
