Vintage-inspired design: The HH-30 was created in collaboration with session musician James "Hutch" Hutchinson and features an offset ash body with a classic look.
Versatile P/J pickup configuration: The combination of a split-coil "Neo Punch" pickup in the neck and a single-coil "Vintage hot J" in the bridge provides a wide tonal palette. This allows for a deep, fat, and warm sound from the neck pickup, a bright, articulate sound from the bridge pickup, and a blend of both.
Comfortable short scale: With a 30-inch scale length, the bass is more manageable for players with smaller hands or guitarists transitioning to bass.
Smooth playability: The U-shaped neck profile and 1.5" nut width offer a comfortable and fast-playing feel. The Plek'd fretwork on some models ensures excellent fretwork and precise intonation.
