Hello, I am currently looking to add a team member to support my two new placements (5 and 6 year old boys).
The position will be Friday to Monday hourly position (34 hrs a week).
Friday 7 hours
Saturday 10 hours
Sunday 10 hours
Monday 7 hours
This is a staffed Foster home with 4 boys currently in residence.
The position will be very active. Trips to the park, beach,swimming, hikes, and driving to sports and school. As well as helping out around the house (cooking, cleaning,hygiene/bathing, activities in the home).
The boys are lovely, but do have some challanging behaviors so patience and a good sense of humor is a must. They are currently being assessed for Adhd and supports are being put in place.
Having experience in a group home setting is preferable, but not essential as I am happy to train an applicant that really wants to enter the field and is a good fit.
Must have Full drivers license with clean drivers abstract
Ministry will do a criminal records check once hired.
The job is a long term position as my funding is locked in so there is lots of job security and potential for an increased roll.
