You will be working as part of a small team of dedicated crew members who all love being on the water and thrive in the customer service industry. The role includes performing marine industry protocols and full training will be given to bring you up to the standards required by Transport Canada.
We operate 7 days a week out of the Causeway Marina and need our staff members to be flexible. You will share this role with others and will be offered around 25 to 30 hours per week. Being a service industry position, good tips can be earned for a job well done. Our season runs from May to early October.
Experience as a tour guide is definitely preferable as well as a good background knowledge of Victoria. You must be a confident speaker as you will be on the microphone in front of up to 50 passengers. Fluent English with a clearly understandable accent is also essential.
